Dr. Nishanth has completed his medical graduation (MBBS) from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore-India in 2009, following which he completed his Masters in Orthopedics (M.S Orthopedics) from the same university in the year 2012. He completed his basic spine surgery training during the course of Senior Residency in Kasturba Medical College- Manipal. He completed A.O Spine National Fellowship at Stavya Spine Hospital and Research Institute, Ahmedabad, India in 2017 and Singapore Medical Council accredited Fellowship in Minimally Invasive and Spine Navigation Surgery at Changi General Hospital, Singapore from 2017-2018. In the year 2019 he also completed A.O Spine International Fellowship at Royal Adelaide Hospital, Adelaide-Australia where he trained in Spinal Deformity correction and Degenerative spine surgeries.

He has presented his work in various international conferences and meetings as a speaker. He has served as faculty for A.O Trauma and A.O Spine over the years and has participated as resource person and faculty in various educational programs. He is presently a faculty for Global Spine Diploma course being conducted by A.O Spine
